Home in the Bay Property Management & Sales was created to fill a gap in the market for property owners who wanted more than just a property manager or salesperson – they wanted someone who genuinely cared.

To us, a property is much more than bricks and mortar. While it may be an investment, it is also someone's home. It's where families grow, memories are made, celebrations are shared, and life happens. We believe that when you find the right home for the right person, everybody wins.

Sandra Seaton has been helping people buy, sell and manage property for over 30 years. Her real estate journey began at just 21 years of age after returning home from working overseas as a chef. Looking to purchase her own first home, Sandra found herself repeatedly ignored by an agent despite her genuine interest in a property. Determined not to let the experience stop her, she contacted the agency owner directly and secured an inspection within 20 minutes.

That experience sparked a passion for real estate and a desire to do things differently.

Sandra obtained her full Real Estate Licence through the REIQ and, with the support of her family, purchased her first agency, LJ Hooker Bli Bli. From there, she went on to establish Blue Water Rentals and Hot Shot Properties in the heart of Mooloolaba, building a successful business with over 500 properties under management, a thriving sales division, and specialist services supporting investors and developers throughout South-East Queensland.

Her success eventually attracted the attention of Ray White, which acquired the business.

Never one to sit still, Sandra then embarked on a new adventure, purchasing and operating a beachfront resort on Magnetic Island. While the experience was rewarding, family and friends eventually called her back home to the Fraser Coast.

Today, Sandra is proud to call Hervey Bay home. As the founder of Home in the Bay Property Management & Sales, she combines over three decades of industry experience with a genuine passion for helping people achieve their property goals.

Known for her honesty, personalised service and hands-on approach, Sandra has built a reputation for treating every property as if it were her own and every client as more than just a number.
